MISSION STATEMENT

 

Open Door Community Church 's Student Ministry exists to EXPOSE students throughout the Anderson area to the teachings of Jesus Christ. Help students UNDERSTAND and APPLY scripture.  MINISTER to students and families, lead students in WORSHIP and CONNECT them with other believers and provide them with opportunities to SERVE.


WEEKLY PROGRAMS

God Squad: Grades K4 thru 5


Sunday Morning 10:00 – 11:45

Wednesday Evening 6:15-7:30

 

 

 

Youth Group: Grades 6 thru 12

Sunday Evenings at 6:00pm

 

Girls in Action

Girls in Action® (GA®) is a missions discipleship organization for girls. Every girl in grades 1–6 can be a part of GA! Through GA, girls learn about, pray for, give to, and do missions work. They also make new friends and have lots of fun!

Acteens

Acteens® is a missions organization for girls ages 12–17 or in grades 7–12. Through Acteens, teenage girls have opportunities to grow in their relationships with God and their peers. Acteens learn to look beyond themselves and become actively involved in missions and ministry.

Hands on Bible

The Bible comes alive when you teach as Jesus taught!  Just as Jesus used everyday objects to teach eternal truths, Hands-On Bible Curriculum uses fun gizmos that help Sunday school leaders teach so kids understand God’s Word, love it and remember it for a lifetime.

Mission Friends

How early can a child begin learning Christian missions concepts? The preschool years.From babies to kindergartners, Mission Friends provides the building blocks of faith and a basic awareness of God's love for all people. For Mission Friends leaders, you'll find resources designed to help you engage preschoolers of all ages in hands-on missions discipleship activities.
